What is an originator code/ID?
An originator ID is a unique number given to companies that debit your account via ACH.
Why do I need it?
Banks often put filters on your account to stop unauthorized companies from taking funds. While this is a good thing, it also prevents our accounts payable provider, Melio, from debiting your account when you make payments.
What do I need to do?
Provide your bank with Melio’s originator IDs (also known as ACH IDs) before making payments through the pay business bills experience. You’ll only need to do this once.
