Common Questions

Can I make a personal payment?

No, you can only make a business payment. Here, you can find a list of what you can and can’t pay with pay business bills.

For non-business payments, please refer to other payment options offered by Capital One.

Where can I find the scheduled payments?

Your scheduled payments can be found under the Payments tab. You can filter your payments by status. To find all scheduled payments, simply filter your payments by the Scheduled status. You can also filter your payments by payment frequency. 

Where can I track my payments?

You can find all your payments under the Payments tab. To track the progress of your payment, find the payment you wish to track and select View payment. You can see the Payment activity at the top of the payment details.

Where can I see my due bills?

Due bills can be found under the Bills tab. From here, you can see the details of your bills and manage them from this location. 

Where can I see recent payments?

All payments are in the Payments and can be filtered by status and frequency. From here, you can see all the details of your payments. You can also manage your payments from this tab.

What if I have multiple business accounts?

Pay business bills allows you to manage multiple businesses accessible from a central location. When you have additional eligible businesses, you can activate them through your Capital One business account. Follow this guide to add a business.

Will my list of vendors and billers migrate to the new experience?

All your saved vendors and billers migrated to the new pay bill experience. 

In some cases, you may need to re-add a vendor if there were no previous payments sent or outstanding scheduled to them.

Where can I find vendors?

The complete list of your vendors is in the Vendors tab. Under the Vendors tab, you can add vendors, make payments to vendors, and create vendor groups. Vendor groups can be used to organize and filter your different vendors.

Is there a biller directory?

Yes, a list of verified billers simplifies the way to pay. You can add vendors from the Biller directory when adding new vendors from the Vendors tab. Pay business bills will complete the details, including the delivery details. To learn more about adding verified billers from the directory, please see the complete guide here

Will I continue to get my eBills?

Yes. Your eBills registration will continue as usual during each vendor's billing cycle. You’ll get them in the Bills tab. Those marked with auto-pay will be scheduled to be paid automatically. Please see the following guide to learn more about setting your automatic payments for your eBill.   

Can I subscribe to new eBills or cancel my existing subscriptions?

Yes. You can subscribe to receive additional eBills from billers that offer this service. An indication of the service appears next to the name of the biller that offers it. You can also cancel your eBill subscriptions to any of your vendors. To learn more about subscribing and unsubscribing from eBills, please see the following guide.

What happens to my recurring payments and auto-payments?

All your payments can be found in the Payments tab. Here, you can filter your payments by their status and frequency.

A recurring payment is marked with the icon, the type of recurrence, and the number of payments recurring payment icon.png.

In the Vendors tab, you can see if your vendor has recurring payments by following these steps.

  1. Next to the relevant vendor, select the three dots.
  2. Select View vendor from the dropdown list. This will open the vendor details.
  3. Any recurring payments will be listed under the vendor details

Auto payment requests are in the Bills tab and will be paid automatically according to the Auto-pay conditions you set.

Can I set new recurring payments?

Yes, you can. 

When you add a bill, you can set it as a recurring payment by selecting the payment frequency, the date you want your payment delivered, and the recurring payment duration.
